FirstCape, the UK’s fastest growing Top 20 Brand*, has had its six most successful weeks to date.
The period from the 28th May through to the 2nd July, FirstCape sold over 100 000 cases. FirstCape was the lead brand for the Thresher South African promotion, and sales were boosted in the specialist, while the brand continued to sell great volumes through retailers.
“This has truly been an exciting time for FirstCape – the consumer is obviously really interacting well with the brand. FirstCape’s success thus far has occurred with a distribution of only 55% in the total market, so given new listings in the pipeline we firmly believe it will sail into the UK’s Top 10 brands list by the end of the year” comments Greg Wilkins, Director Brand Phoenix.
FirstCape is the joint venture between FirstCape Vineyards SA, which is made up of Goudini Wines, De Wet, Stettyn, Badsberg and Aan de Doorns co-op wineries, and UK importer Brand Phoenix.
