Nestled between Villiersdorp and Worcester in South Africa’s picturesque Cape Winelands, Stettyn Family Vineyards boasts a rich heritage dating back to 1714. Initially granted to Free Burghers Cloete and Radyn by Governor Chavonnes of the Dutch East India Company, the estate was named after their ancestral home in Stettin, Prussia. In 1818, the Botha family acquired the farm, and for eight generations, they have upheld a proud tradition of winemaking. The establishment of Stettyn Cellar in 1963 marked a significant milestone, sourcing grapes from the vineyards of Stettyn, Jonkersrivier, and De Hoek.

Stettyn’s diverse wine portfolio caters to a wide range of palates. The Signature Reserve range features full-bodied, wood-matured wines with excellent aging potential, including the acclaimed flagship red blend, The Guardian. The Stone Range pays homage to the estate’s historic stone watermill and offers a selection of fruit-forward rosé, robust Chenin Blanc, and complex red blends. For those celebrating special moments, the Sparkling Wines collection, highlighted by the Babelki Brut Sparkling Chardonnay Pinot Noir and The Deed Cap Classique Brut, provides elegant choices.

Visitors to Stettyn Cellar can immerse themselves in the estate’s offerings through curated wine tastings, complemented by delectable snacks, all set against the backdrop of the Klein Drakenstein Mountains. For outdoor enthusiasts, the estate also features mountain biking and walking trails, allowing guests to explore the scenic beauty of the vineyards.

Demonstrating a commitment to sustainability, Stettyn Cellar’s “Stettynability” initiative ensures that each purchase contributes to meaningful charitable endeavors, transforming the simple act of buying wine into a gesture of generosity
