Stettyn Cellar is home to beloved award-winning wines.

Discover the Legacy of Stettyn Wines

Stettyn Wines is a proudly South African wine producer with a rich heritage. Located between Villiersdorp and Worcester, the farm dates back to 1714. Its history began when the Dutch East India Company granted the land to Free Burghers Cloete and Radyn. These settlers came from Stettin in former Prussia, inspiring the estate’s name.

Generations of Passion

The Botha family took ownership of the farm in 1818. Today, eight generations later, they still manage the estate. Their commitment to quality and tradition is evident in every bottle. In 1963, three farms—Stettyn, Jonkersrivier, and De Hoek—combined their efforts. This move led to the creation of the Stettyn Cellar. It marked the beginning of modern winemaking for the estate.

Award-Winning Wines

Stettyn Vineyards cover over 400 hectares. They grow 70% white and 30% red grape varieties. The region offers cold winters and mild summers, ideal for growing grapes. These conditions ensure balanced, flavorful wines. The cellar has been modernized and can press up to 10,000 tons of grapes each year.

Visit Stettyn Wines

The estate is known not only for its wines but also for its warm hospitality. Guests can enjoy tastings in a relaxed, scenic setting. The Cape Dutch homestead, built in 1777, adds a touch of history to every visit.

Whether you’re a wine lover or new to the world of wine, Stettyn Wines offers something special. Their blends reflect both heritage and innovation. From crisp whites to bold reds, there’s a wine for every palate.
