Climate/conditions
Mediterranean climate with winter rainfall situated between the cooler, wetter Boland and the harsher, drier Karoo. Cool nights enhance the veraison with warmer days for good phenolic ripeness and concentrated flavours.
Winemaking
Healthy grapes are harvested and delivered to the cellar. The grapes are destemmed and crushed. This happens quickly to keep everything fresh and avoid oxidation. Juice is fermented dry in stainless steel tanks with low temperatures to ensure a fresh and fruity profile wine.
